About Embers & Maple

Born from love and courage. Limited in number. Limitless in meaning.

In 2024, our world shifted when our four-year-old daughter, Samara, Sammi to those who know her, became critically unwell and spent six months at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. To fill the long, uncertain days, we began making bracelets for the incredible doctors, nurses, and friends who surrounded us. What started as a small act of gratitude soon became a source of light in the darkness, and from that love and resilience, Embers & Maple Jewellery was born.

The name holds deep meaning for us. Embers symbolises the fire we refused to let go out, the quiet strength that carried us through even the hardest nights. Maple is Sammi herself: steadfast, resilient, and strong, like the tree whose winged seeds, called samaras, drift gently through the seasons, reminding us of renewal, hope, and endurance.

At Embers & Maple, every piece of jewellery is more than an accessory. It’s a story, a memory, a symbol forged from the heart. Each design is created with intention and care, transforming materials into treasures that carry meaning, whether a gemstone chosen for its energy, a colour inspired by a loved one, or an initial representing someone special.

Founded by Alex and handcrafted at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges in Melbourne, Embers & Maple is rooted in love, family, and purpose. Every piece is made by hand, blending thoughtful design with hand-selected gemstones, freshwater pearls, and quality finishes to create jewellery that is both authentic and enduring.

Our collections are intentionally limited, because true beauty is rare, and the moments they celebrate are one of a kind. We believe jewellery should connect, inspire, and last a lifetime, just like the stories they hold.

Born from love, handcrafted with heart. Embers & Maple invites you to wear your story, honour your journey, and treasure what truly matters.
