Necklace Length Guide
Choosing the perfect necklace length helps you wear your jewellery just the way you like, comfortably, confidently, and in your own style.
How to Measure:
- Use a soft measuring tape and wrap it gently around your neck where you’d like the necklace to sit.
- No tape? No problem. Use a piece of string or ribbon, mark where it meets, then measure it with a ruler.
- Make sure it feels natural and comfortable, no pinching or pulling.
Standard Length Options
At Embers & Maple, our necklaces are made to a standard 40cm length unless otherwise specified. You can also choose 38cm, 43cm or 46cm to suit your style.
All lengths include a 5 cm extender chain for added flexibility.
- 38cm - a choker length, sits close around your neck
- 40cm – Sits just above the collarbone
- 43cm – Sits at the collarbone
- 46cm – Sits just below the collarbone

- Not sure where to start? Go with 40cm, it's our most popular length and works beautifully for layering.
