What's Covered
If your jewellery experiences a fault due to my workmanship, or needs repair as a result of normal everyday wear and tear, I'll repair it free of charge for the lifetime of your jewellery.
This includes repairs such as:
- Re-stringing beaded jewellery.
- Replacing worn or broken clasps, jump rings or findings caused by normal wear.
- Soldering or repairing components that fail due to craftsmanship.
- General repairs required through everyday wear.
If your piece can be repaired, I'll always do my best to restore it.
Bronze Impression Pieces
Every bronze impression piece is finished with a clear protective coating to help slow tarnishing and protect the surface.
Over time, this coating may naturally wear depending on how often your jewellery is worn and your individual body chemistry.
If your bronze impression piece ever needs its protective coating refreshed, I'll happily re-coat it free of charge for the lifetime of your jewellery. You'll simply need to cover the cost of shipping your piece to and from my Melbourne studio.
What's Not Covered
While I'll always do my best to help, the Lifetime Craftsmanship Guarantee doesn't cover:
- Accidental damage.
- Lost or stolen jewellery.
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect or improper care.
- Damage caused by exposure to harsh chemicals or excessive force.
- Alterations or repairs carried out by another jeweller.
- Natural scratches, dents or cosmetic wear that occur through normal use and don't affect the integrity of the piece.

If your jewellery needs some love, simply email hello@embersandmaple.com.au with a photo of your piece and a brief description of the issue.
I'll assess the repair and let you know the next steps. If your repair is covered under the Lifetime Craftsmanship Guarantee, I'll take care of the workmanship at no cost to you. If the damage falls outside the guarantee, I'll always provide a quote before any work begins.
